Managing users

The P2i Supplier Administrator performs the managing user functionality for the Funded Organisation.

A deactivated user no longer receives P2i email notifications. This negatively impacts the forgotten username/password functionality. Refer to Activate a user.
The Supplier Administrator Superuser or Mainuser are two other terms used.
This role is responsible for managing a Funded Organisation's individual user accounts and organisational activity assignments.
Other users may be elevated to be "Administrator" like. is the first user registered for the Funded Organisation in P2i. This occurred while registering the organisation. Refer to Register as a new P2i service supplier.
Warning P2i only permits one P2i Supplier Administrator Superuser or Mainuser are two other terms used.
This role is responsible for managing a Funded Organisation's individual user accounts and organisational activity assignments.
Other users may be elevated to be "Administrator" like. (Main User) within a Funded Organisation.
Tip The P2i Supplier Administrator can elevate a user's access to assist with P2i. Refer to Elevate user access.
This elevate process ought to have already been applied to the Funded Organisation's Organisation Director user account.
When needed, the P2i Supplier Administrator (or appropriately elevated user) can transfer the Supplier Administrator account to another Funded Organisation user. Refer to Change the P2i Supplier Administrator (Main User).

There are two main P2i user types.

User 1 - ONLY requires access to the P2i Main Dashboard for activities such as responding to Requests for Information and Requests for Quote and NO access within the Acquittals Dashboard

User 2 - requires access to the Acquittals Dashboard to submit, endorse or approve Acquittals (Periodic Reporting) and view a contract's payment and report status.
For User 1 AND User 2:
-
create a user profile in P2i. (Refer to Create a user)
Note There is no limit to the number of users a Funded Organisation can create in P2i.

provide the user profile with User Rights to P2i's Main Dashboard.
User Rights are set:
-
individually (refer to Update User Rights)
Note Only need to update User Rights when the default user rights are not sufficient to perform the required tasks. Refer to User Rights table to check.

via a named grouping of User Rights specified within a User Role (refer to Create a user role).

For User 2:
-
assign appropriate permission role/s to related Acquittals Dashboard applications (apps). (Refer to Assign Permission Role/s).
Note
More than one permission roles can be allocated to the user (including the Supplier administrator role).
Refer to Acquittals Dashboard - Permission Roles table to check the permission role and identify the tasks performed by that role.
Tip The Supplier Administrator ought to consider when to elevate a user's access for one or both P2i dashboards to help with administrative roles. Refer to Elevate user access.

A created user could be recorded as the Default User to receive:

all email alerts related to events (Requests for Information / Requests for Quotes) to which the Funded Organisation has been invited
-
email alerts related to contracts.
